JD Salmon, LLC, doing business as Jerome & Co. (“Jerome & Co.,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operates hair salons at 4050 S US Hwy 1, Suite 311, Jupiter, FL 33477 and 5154 Georgia Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33405 (“SoSo”), and the website jeromeandco.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you book an appointment, call or text us, visit a salon, or contact us, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, appointment history, service notes (such as color formulas, hair type and preferences), product purchases, and any other details you choose to share with us.
Payment information
Payments are processed through our salon point-of-sale and payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
Information collected automatically
The Site itself does not use advertising cookies or analytics tracking, and it has no forms that collect personal information. Some pages include content from third parties — Google Maps, Google Fonts, and Instagram — which may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and cookies when that content loads. Their use of that information is governed by their own privacy policies.
Online booking
Online appointments are booked through Meevo, our salon software provider. When you book online, you provide your information directly to Meevo, which stores it on our behalf so we can manage your appointments. Meevo’s handling of your information is also subject to its own privacy policy.
How we use your information
- To schedule, confirm, and remind you of appointments
- To provide services and keep notes that help us care for your hair consistently from visit to visit
- To communicate with you by phone, text message, or email, including replying to messages you send us
- To process payments and product purchases
- To respond to your questions and requests
- To send you salon news or offers, if you have agreed to receive them
- To operate, maintain, and protect our salons, the Site, and our business
- To comply with legal obligations
Text messages (SMS)
If you provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, Jerome & Co. may send you appointment confirmations, reminders, and updates, and you may text us and receive replies from our team. Marketing or promotional texts are sent only if you have separately opted in to receive them.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP; you will receive one message confirming your opt-out. We do not share your mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. The sharing described below excludes this information.
If you provide your email, we may send appointment confirmations and reminders. Marketing email is sent only if you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us run the business (such as our booking, scheduling, and payment providers), who may use it only to provide services to us
- Between our Jupiter and SoSo locations, so our team can serve you at either salon
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Jerome & Co., our clients, or others
- In connection with a sale, merger, or transfer of all or part of our business
All of the above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, which will not be shared with any third parties.
Photos and social media
We may photograph our work for our portfolio and social media. We will ask your permission before posting a photo in which you can be identified, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
How long we keep information
We keep client records for as long as you are a client and for a reasonable period afterward, or as required by law. You may ask us to delete your records at any time, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.
Your choices
You may ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop receiving text messages or marketing messages, by contacting us using the details below.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Appointments for minors should be booked by a parent or guardian.
Links to other websites
The Site links to other websites, including Meevo, Instagram, and Google Maps. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective” date above shows when it was last changed.
